With the attendance of the College Security Director, Brigadier General Nabil, the College Secretary Mr. Walid Mohamed, and the organizational structure of the Disaster and Crisis Unit.
Today, Monday, 01/12/2025, a seminar was held in the Faculty’s Discussion Hall: a simulation workshop titled “Evacuation and Emergency Plan and Initial Firefighting Measures.”
? The workshop was delivered by:
Major General Fikry Shalaby, Director of the Civil Defense Unit at Suez Canal University, who provided a comprehensive explanation of the fundamentals of handling emergency situations and the correct procedures to ensure everyone’s safety.
? Additionally, the Civil Protection Department conducted a practical exercise using a fire truck, demonstrating fire control mechanisms and training students and staff on safe evacuation methods without any loss of life — God forbid.
? These activities reflect the sector’s commitment to raising awareness and safety standards within the Faculty and enhancing the capabilities of our students and staff to deal effectively with emergency situations.
