Quality Activation and performance appraisal is the main goal of this Unit to enhance the standard of graduates, improve the teaching staff capabilities, develop curricula and scientific research and finally participate in community service.
This unit aims to become a unique pioneer in all faculties in the regional and Egyptian universities, initiating an incentive environment to improve performance and support students' excellence and distinction towards an integrated undergraduate.
Aims of the unit Target Classes & Mechanism:
- Providing excellent academic and physical support to the outstanding and creative faculty's students.
- Leveling a social academic environment for students.
- Raising students' awareness of the importance of the unit and its role in helping students and solving their problems, decreasing stumbling through protective guidance.
- Applying the quality standards of modern learning systems toward a distinctive educational process.
- Supporting stumbling and low-standard students toward educational improvement
- Preparing suitable social, academic, educational, and environmental conditions for students to be distinguished and competitive in the local and/or regional labor market.
- Getting the utmost benefit of the teaching staff's expertise towards a sound psychological and academic environment for students.
- Initiating opportunities for social, cultural, and academic cooperation between the teaching staff and faculty students towards educational solutions for stumbling students and through the support of distinctive ones.
Goals:
- We are preparing the annual training plan for each educational program.
- We are communicating with the training parts in the labor market.
- Coordinating with outer training parts.
- Assigning and directing liable students for training.
- Allotting guiding lectures prior to training.
- Determining and preparing the academic supervisors from different academic departments.
- Carrying out training programs and working on solving problems.
- Raising the training results to the central Department Board or Faculty Board for accreditation.
The unit targets to activate information technology services to serve the educational process, academic staff members, students, and employees. This is achieved by the following:
• To offer technical support to the education and learning process that depends on systems and information technology at the faculty.
• Manage faculty's portal and social media accounts.
• Advance the digital library.
• Maintenance of the operating systems and software used on faculty's computers.
• Develop an electronic working environment matching with the university's managerial information systems (Ibn al-Haitham for students' affairs- Al-Farouk- Al Faraby).
• Finalize and support the infrastructure of systems and information technology in the faculty.
Within the frame of the faculty's strategic direction to offer outstanding educational services to students starting from registration at the faculty till their graduation and obtaining their certificate. To activate this strategy graduate follow-up unit has been established. It is committed to applying quality guidelines and specifications in updated education methods to serve students and graduates. Such a goal is achieved by preparing and qualifying the student to join the labour market rather than building relations with multiple authorities, tourism institutions, and public and private sectors to provide training and employment opportunities for students and graduates.
