As part of the faculty's role in community service and environmental development, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Dina Abu Al-Maati, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and led by Prof. Dr. Nevine Galal, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Samar Mohamed Mosleh, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, organized a visit to the nursing home in the Al-Shuhada area of Ismailia Governorate on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, in celebration of Mother's Day, accompanied by a group of students from the faculty.
This visit was held to celebrate Mother's Day, aiming to bring joy and happiness to the esteemed mothers at the home and to affirm the values of social solidarity and elderly care. We were warmly welcomed by Mr. Mohsen Nagida, the supervisor of the home, who expressed his happiness with this humanitarian gesture.
Several faculty members supported this humanitarian initiative by donating gifts and medical supplies, which brought joy to the esteemed mothers. Prof. Dr. Samar Mohamed Mosleh also emphasized the importance of volunteer work and its role in serving the community, promoting values of compassion and cooperation.
